What the Shift Interactive Map is and how to use it

Using the Shift Interactive Map, you can learn more about the major projects planned or currently under construction within the Shift Project Area and what transportation resources are available to you.

Prior to using the interactive map viewer, users are encouraged review the help documentation below, which provides detailed instructions on how to navigate the map and view project information.

Use the checkboxes to view the Shift Project Area along with current and future public and private sector projects.

Transportation Projects

Click on the “Transportation Projects” header to expand the table of contents to view the symbology for highway, transit and bike projects. The layer can be turned on and off by clicking on the checkbox.

Click on the “Transportation Resources” header to expand the table of contents to view the symbology for various transportation options by mode. The layers can be turned on and off by clicking on the checkbox. The transparency can be adjusted for select layers by moving the slider left-to-right.

Click on the icon in the upper left corner of the map to switch back and forth between the streets basemap and imagery.

Click on a map feature to view more information. PopUps are available for the following layers:

  • Transportation Project Segments
  • Park and Ride
  • Bike Parking
  • Trolley Stops
  • COASTER and SPRINTER Stops
  • Bus Stops
  • Transit Lines
  • Points of Interest
